Shipping policies for Starla’s Candle Making

*We do not ship out of the U.S. We do have Canadian customers with U.S. post office boxes. If you are outside the U.S. arrangments can be made to contact Susie directly as she will ship to some countries outside the U.S.

  1. All customers must prepay orders.
  2. Customers in state must have reseller certificate or pay sales tax according to Ross County, Ohio..
  3. There is no minimum order for retail. There is no additional reduction in price for ordering larger quantities.

4.Most merchandise will be delivered U.P.S. and via T&S Enterprises. U.S. mail will be used at our discretion.

  1. Shipping costs have been estimated utilizing assumptions on packaging and weights. In some instances, shipping charges may run more than originally calculated. In those instances you will be notified via a money request thru paypal. In most instances these shipments involve products such as wax, candles, and containers.
    Additional shipping charges may be applied after we have sent your order if we are charged more then your paid thru paypal.
    IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF SHIPPING RATES – CALL YOUR ORDER IN.
  2. WE DO NOT REFUND MONEY FOR ANY REASON.
    WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS – due to the nature of fragrances and wax properties. For scents, it is recommended that you start with a trial size of a product (1 ounce sizes) since returns on scents will not be accepted.
  3. Customer should purchase small quantities to ensure product meets their specifications.
  4. Some candle making items may be limited to stock on hand. Back orders will be filled as soon as possible. No shipping fees will be charged on back orders.
  5. Because of the nature of the candlemaking supplies market, prices are subject to change without notice.
  6. We will notify you of back orders and their approximate arrival dates. STUFFED PLUSH BEAR’S LEAD TIME IS 7 TO 10 BUSINESS DAYS OR MORE. BUSINESS DAYS DO NOT INCLUDE WEEKENDS.
  7. Free shipping good only on 16 oz bottles of candle scent, dye blocks, wicks, or products which say free shipping. This does not wax products. Does not apply outside the continental U.S. Does not include Alaska or Hawaii. Shipping charges will be applied to other items purchased.
  8. If, for any reason, you cancel your order, you will be charged 5.00 in re-stocking fees. No exceptions.
  9. If you pay with paypal and do not include an address where we can ship your product, we will refund your money and you will be responsible for the refund payment to paypal. WE CAN NOT SHIP WITHOUT AN ADDRESS AND IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBLITLY TO PROVIDE IT!

14 IF YOU PLACE A SCENT ORDER AND DO NOT INCLUDE A SCENT SELECTION, WE WILL ATTEMP TO CONTACT YOU BY PHONE ONCE- (PROVIDED YOUR PHONE NUMBER IS LISTED VIA PAYPAL) – AND WE WILL EMAIL YOU REGUARDING THIS, IF WE DO NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE WITHIN 3 BUSINESS DAYS, WE WILL MAKE THE SELECTION FOR YOU OF OUR TOP SELLING SCENTS.

  1. CANDLES ARE MADE ONE AT A TIME – BY HAND – NOT ON AN ASSEMBLY LINE. LEAD TIME ON CANDLES IS USUALLY ONE WEEK FOR MOST ORDERS, BUT LARGE ORDERS WILL TAKE LONGER. LEAD TIME WILL INCREASE DURING HOLIDAYS. We have 3 employees, not an army.
  2. We do not give a guarentee on candles lasting colors. Colors will fade over time.
  3. We do not make, no imply, nor suggest, nor guarantee that you will be able to resell these products, we are a buy in bulk, not a wholesale company.
